Chris Hendrickson is a vice president in Lazard Middle Market’s healthcare practice.
Prior to joining Lazard Middle Market, Mr. Hendrickson spent six years as a vice president at UnitedHealth Group in numerous roles including mergers and acquisitions, strategic development, national hospital and physician network development, and President of Ovations’ chronic condition management business unit. While part of UnitedHealth Group, Mr. Hendrickson participated in the execution of 14 acquisitions and four divestitures, totaling over $14.0 billion. Prior to UnitedHealth Group, Mr. Hendrickson was a vice president at RBC Capital Markets (formerly Dain Rauscher Wessels) and was a senior leader in their healthcare and technology investment banking groups. Mr. Hendrickson brings eight years of mergers & acquisitions experience and 12 years of healthcare experience with an emphasis on managed care, healthcare information technology, disease management, medical devices and supplies, hospice and pharmaceutical services. Prior to RBC Capital Markets, Mr. Hendrickson was a manager at Grant Thornton LLP and a senior associate at Coopers & Lybrand LLP and worked with clients across a number of industries including healthcare, consumer, retail, gaming and construction.
Mr. Hendrickson graduated from the University of Michigan Graduate School of Business, where he received a Master of Business Administration degree with concentrations in strategy and finance and received a bachelor of arts degree in accounting from the University of St. Thomas. Mr. Hendrickson is also a certified public accountant.
